The scientific and theoretical journal «Art Studies» was founded in 2019 and is published twice a year in Tajik, Russian and English.

The journal is registered with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan under No. 264/МҶ-97 dated October 25, 2022.

"Art Studies" is a scientific and theoretical journal of the Department of Art Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, publishing materials from a series of art studies, published in accordance with the law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Press and Mass Media".

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE SCIENTIFIC REVIEW JOURNAL "ART STUDIES" ARE:

- operational coverage of the results of research activities of scientists of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as scientists from near and far abroad countries in the following branches of art: musical art, fine arts, architecture, cinematography, theater arts, acting, arts and crafts.- development of international cooperation in the direction of art studies;- providing an opportunity for researchers to publish the results of scientific research;- coverage of topical problems and promising areas of art sciences;- search for new knowledge for the spiritual and social development of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan as a whole and its regions;- promotion of the achievements of research activities of scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as researchers from other universities and institutions of education and science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
